Clinical Affiliations/Internships

At Functional Pathways, we believe that providing training for new therapy graduates and students is our professional responsibility and, therefore, is our commitment. We provide a number of learning opportunities for clinical affiliations and internships in our rehab departments. We have specific clinical rotation sites at many of our locations across the U.S. which have been structured in association with local colleges and universities.

Volunteers

We welcome students and those interested in pursuing a therapy career as volunteers in our Rehab Departments. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to obtain first hand knowledge of the benefits that rehabilitative services can offer individuals in need. Volunteers are accepted on a facility by facility basis.

Tuition Assistance/Loan Reimbursement

Functional Pathways is a great place to start your professional therapy career. We have job opportunities throughout the eastern U.S. and will work with you to find a location that is suitable to you. Our tuition assistance/loan reimbursement program is designed to help you save up front on tuition costs or loan repayment. In turn, you will be assured that a job will be waiting for you when you graduate from your therapy program.

Who is eligible?
Students enrolled in programs for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology (Masters program), Physical Therapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant may apply.

How much financial assistance will I receive?
Financial aid is determined on a case by case basis and is based on the costs of your therapy program and the demand for therapists in your preferred geographic region. Maximum financial assistance is $10,000.

What are my obligations upon graduation?
After graduating from your therapy program and receiving your license, a new job will be waiting for you. We will request a commitment of work time from you which will be relative to the amount of money which you received.
